Mr. Ali Ashraf Usmani

Mufti Rafey Ashraf Usmani is an eminent Shariah Scholar. Mr. Rafey has strong academic background in Islamic Studies, Islamic Jurisprudence and Islamic Economics.
He completed Hifz-e-Quran in 1999 and joined the most prestigious institution for Shariah education in the world viz Ashrafiya Islamic University (also called Jamia Ashrafiya) and studied there for 06 years. He worked with Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi, (the institution operates under the supervision of Mufti Azam Pakistan Mufti Rafi Usmani damat barakatuhum and Shaikhul Islam Mufti Taqi Usmani damat barakatuhum) and completed Dars e Nizami (Shahdat-ul-Aalimiyah) from there.
He joined Darul ifta Jamia Darul Uloom Karachi for three years Ifta course called Takhasus fil Ifta. He joined teaching and Fatwa writing in Jamia Ashrafiya Lahore. He completed his M/S in Islamic Banking and Finance from University of Management and Technology (UMT) Lahore.
He has delivered several lectures at different forums and has written about more than three thousand Fatawas on different Islamic topics including Islamic Finance and family law.
In his professional carrier he has been associated with different educational institutions including Jamia Ashrafiya, jamia mahad ul tirmizi, Jamia Masjid Shaikha Salim, Islamia university Bahawalpur, University of Management and technology, Minhaj University, Taif Digital Institute etc, and he has also been associated with different financial & business institutions, since past almost 5+ years he is associated with Taqwa Islamic Banking the Bank of Punjab, as Member Shariah Board.
